Its first parameter is the “target” — what is being documented. The second parameter contains the documentation (anomalous forms, variant readings, uncertain readings, etc.).
{ "tmpl_name": "נוסח", "tmpl_params": { "1": "וּבֵרְﬞכ֥וּ", "2": "א=וּבֵרֲכ֥וּ (חטף)" } }
A target need not contain letters of Scripture text. The current target types without such letters are:
" " (U+0020, ASCII space) in column E, or "__" in column
C.A target can also wrap one of these forms in מ:הערה-2.
As mentioned above, consumers must accept a target consisting of exactly one ASCII space (U+0020), preserving it without trimming it to an empty string or rejecting it as empty. The current mpplus data has six such targets, all in column E: Deuteronomy 23:8; 2 Samuel 23:24; Ezra 2:69; and Nehemiah 3:2, 3:10, and 7:68.
For example, Deuteronomy 23:8 has this note targeting a space:
{ "tmpl_name": "נוסח", "tmpl_params": { "1": " ", "2": "ל=פסקא באמצע פסוק (פרשה סתומה)" } }
