Targeted scroll-difference note — מ:הערה-2

← Back to Reading MAM-parsed-plus

Every מ:הערה-2 template carries target content, note content, and a documented mark-position code.

{
  "tmpl_name": "מ:הערה-2",
  "tmpl_params": {
    "1": "מִנְּשֹֽׂא",
    "2": "בספרי ספרד ואשכנז מִנְּשֽׂוֹא",
    "3": "אאא*"
  }
}

Arguments:

  1. The target word (the word the note applies to)
  2. The note content (the scroll-difference description)
  3. Mark position: "אאא*" means the note marker (star) comes after the target; "*אאא" means it comes before (only Deut 22:6).

The non-targeted template מ:הערה is no longer retained alongside מ:הערה-2. This intentionally drops one edge-case distinction at Deut 11:21: the star marker can indicate pre-word or post-word position ("*אאא" or "אאא*"), but not post-sof-pasuq position ("אאא׃*").
