The Missing Sections in the Aleppo Codex in the Prophets and Writings המקומות החסרים בכתר בנביאים וכתובים
Five of the books of the Prophets and Writings were lost in part from the Aleppo Codex, and five more books (at the end of the Writings) were lost entirely: חמישה מספרי הנביאים והכתובים אבדו בחלקם בכתר ארם צובה, ועוד חמישה ספרים (בסוף הכתובים) אבדו במלואם:
1. Kings (missing section): Three leaves are missing from the book of Kings in the Aleppo Codex. The missing section begins with the words

אֶת־עֲזַרְיָ֔ה וְה֕וּא בֶּן־שֵׁ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה שָׁנָ֑ה...
(2 Kgs 14:21)

and ends with the words

...וּבְאַרְבַּע֩ עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה שָׁנָ֜ה
(2 Kgs 18:13)

 1. מלכים (קטע חסר): בספר מלכים חסרים שלושה דפים בכתר ארם צובה. החלק החסר מתחיל במילים "אֶת־עֲזַרְיָ֔ה וְה֕וּא בֶּן־שֵׁ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה שָׁנָ֑ה..." (מל"ב יד,כא) ומסתיים במילים "...וּבְאַרְבַּע֩ עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה שָׁנָ֜ה" (מל"ב יח,יג).
2. Jeremiah (missing section): Two leaves are missing from the book of Jeremiah in the Aleppo Codex, and a third leaf is partially torn. The completely missing section (the two lost leaves) begins with the word

יְהֹוָֽה׃...
(end of 29:9)

and ends with the words

...כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה נֹתֵ֥ן
(31:34)

The partially missing section (the torn leaf) begins with the word

לִנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּֽר׃...
(end of 32:1)

and ends with the words

...וְאַתָּ֞ה אָמַ֤רְתָּ אֵלַי֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י
(32:25)

The verses missing in part or entirely are: 32:1–4; 9–11; 14–19; 21–25. [1] 		2. ירמיהו (קטע חסר): בספר ירמיהו חסרים שני דפים בכתר ארם צובה, והדף השלישי קרוע בחלקו. החלק החסר לגמרי (שני הדפים האבודים) מתחיל במילה "יְהֹוָֽה׃..." (סוף כט,ט) ומסתיים במילים "...כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה נֹתֵ֥ן" (לא,לד). החלק החסר באופן חלקי (הדף הקרוע) מתחיל במילה "לִנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּֽר׃..." 3. The Twelve [Minor Prophets] (two missing sections): Leaves are missing from the Twelve Prophets in two places in the Aleppo Codex:
  1. In the first place, three leaves are missing. The missing section begins with the words

    בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא תִּ֠תְעַלַּ֠פְנָה...
    (Amos 8:13)

    Obadiah and Jonah are entirely absent from it, and it ends with the words

    ...וּמוֹצָאֹתָ֥יו מִקֶּ֖דֶם
    (Mic 5:1)

  2. In the second place, four leaves are missing. The missing section begins with the words

    הָאָ֔רֶץ בְּשׁוּבִ֧י אֶת־שְׁבוּתֵיכֶ֛ם...
    (Zeph 3:20)

    Haggai is entirely absent from it, and it ends with the words

    ...וּמַה־יׇּפְי֑וֹ דָּגָן֙
    (Zech 9:17)

 3. תרי עשר (שני קטעים חסרים): בספר תרי עשר חסרים דפים בשני מקומות בכתר ארם צובה:
  1. במקום הראשון חסרים שלושה דפים; החלק החסר מתחיל במילים "בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא תִּ֠תְעַלַּ֠פְנָה..." (עמוס ח,יג), עֹבדיה ויונה חסרים בו לגמרי, והוא מסתיים במילים "...וּמוֹצָאֹתָ֥יו מִקֶּ֖דֶם" (מיכה ה,א).
  2. במקום השני חסרים ארבעה דפים; החלק החסר מתחיל במילים "הָאָ֔רֶץ בְּשׁוּבִ֧י אֶת־שְׁבוּתֵיכֶ֛ם..." (צפניה ג,כ), חגי חסר בו לגמרי, והוא מסתיים במילים "...וּמַה־יׇּפְי֑וֹ דָּגָן֙" (זכריה ט,יז).
4. Psalms (missing section): Two leaves are missing from the book of Psalms in the Aleppo Codex, which contained approximately 10 psalms. The missing section begins with the words

מִזְמ֗וֹר לְדָ֫וִ֥ד מִי־יָג֣וּר בְּאָהֳלֶ֑ךָ...
(Ps 15:1)

and ends with the words

...לְדָוִ֡ד אֵלֶ֥יךָ יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃
(Ps 25:1)

 4. תהלים (קטע חסר): בספר תהלים חסרים שני דפים בכתר ארם צובה, שהיו בהם כ-10 מזמורים. החלק החסר מתחיל במילים "מִזְמ֗וֹר לְדָ֫וִ֥ד מִי־יָג֣וּר בְּאָהֳלֶ֑ךָ..." (טו,א) ומסתיים במילים "...לְדָוִ֡ד אֵלֶ֥יךָ יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃" (כה,א).
5. Song of Songs, after בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן: The scroll of Song of Songs exists in the Aleppo Codex through the words

בְּנ֥וֹת צִיּ֖וֹן
(3:11)

and is missing from that point on, beginning with the words

בַּמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה

This marks the beginning of the books at the end of the Writings that were lost entirely from the Codex. 		5. שיר השירים אחרי "בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן": מגילת שיר השירים קיימת בכתר ארם צובה עד המילים "בְּנ֥וֹת צִיּ֖וֹן" (ג,יא), וחסרה בהמשך מהמילים "בַּמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה"; זוהי תחילת ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו לגמרי מהכתר.
6. Qohelet (missing entirely): The scroll of Qohelet is entirely missing from the Aleppo Codex (among the books at the end of the Writings that were lost). 6. קֹהלת (הכל): מגילת קֹהלת חסרה לגמרי בכתר ארם צובה (בתוך ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו).
7. Lamentations (missing entirely): The scroll of Lamentations is entirely missing from the Aleppo Codex (among the books at the end of the Writings that were lost). 7. איכה (הכל): מגילת איכה חסרה לגמרי בכתר ארם צובה (בתוך ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו).
8. Esther (missing entirely): The scroll of Esther is entirely missing from the Aleppo Codex (among the books at the end of the Writings that were lost). 8. אסתר (הכל): מגילת אסתר חסרה לגמרי בכתר ארם צובה (בתוך ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו).
9. Daniel (missing entirely): The book of Daniel is entirely missing from the Aleppo Codex (among the books at the end of the Writings that were lost). 9. דניאל (הכל): ספר דניאל חסר לגמרי בכתר ארם צובה (בתוך ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו).
10. Ezra (missing entirely): The book of Ezra [(in the broad sense, i.e. including the book of Neḥemiah)] is entirely missing from the Aleppo Codex (among the books at the end of the Writings that were lost). 10. עזרא (הכל): ספר עזרא חסר לגמרי בכתר ארם צובה (בתוך ספרי סוף הכתובים שאבדו).
